Beefed up burgers

A really easy recipe to make. You can make extra patties and freeze them


  • 500g Minced Beef
  • 1/2 a red onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 clove of garlic (crushed)
  • 1/2 tsp English Mustard Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 1 tsp Italian Herbs
  • 1 tbsp crunchy organic peanut butter
  • Fresh ground black pepper


  1. Combine all the ingredients together in a glass bowl
  2. Shape in to patties ( I have a silicone 1/3 cup measuring spoon, I press the mixture in to this to size and shape it, then once I have popped them out I pat them a little flatter so they are easier to cook)
  3. Cook the patties, I used a grill plate and grilled them 5 mins each side on a medium heat (don’t forget to oil the plate to avoid sticking) Turn the patties regularly to avoid burning them. (You could probably cook them in a frying pan too)
